Celebrating Women in Construction Week!

It’s Women in Construction (WIC) Week, and during this week we have been highlighting some of Woodgrain’s incredible women associates who service our customers and the industry!
Women in Construction Week, celebrates and promotes the role of women in the construction industry. The National Association of Women in Construction Week (NAWIC) held the first WIC Week in 1998, and it has grown and expanded each year since.
Although only 14% of construction workers are women, there has been a steady increase in the amount of women entering the industry. According to a recent data report from Fixr, the number of women in the construction industry has increased from 929,000 in 2015 to over 1.3 million in 2025.
This week, we celebrate the remarkable women in Woodgrain who inspire others and make the building industry truly amazing. Women in Construction (WIC) Week recognizes and celebrates the inspiring contributions of women who have made a positive impact in our company. Today, we want to recognize some of Woodgrain’s amazing female associates who serve our customers and the industry during this special week. Each woman was nominated by a fellow Woodgrain team member.
